Fito, Fito, Fito!

This past Saturday I went with some friends to see a rock/alternative concert in Valladolid. I had so much fun that I just had to share the pictures with all of you. The band is called Fito y Fitipaldis and they have been playing for some time now, but I had never heard them before my friend Jackeline mentioned them to me. Now I just love this band. :) I'll put a track/video up of them so you can have an idea of what they sound like.
Fito (the one in center with a black cap) y Fitipaldis. We were extremely close to the stage.
Carlos (Jackeline's boyfriend), Kyle, me and Jackeline enjoying the concert.
Jackeline was a little distracted by this crazy group of guys....they were definitely on something.
Fito y Fitipaldis
The band...they have a saxophonist, accordionist/pianist, two guitarists (the singer and the long haired guy who is very talented), a bassist and a drummer who's American.

I've learned it is difficult to take pictures when the band is moving/playing and the crowd is waving their hands in the air....haha!
Fito on the big screen

Clearer picture of the band.
Kyle, me and Jackeline

One of the last numbers of the show.
The stage....

The concert started at 11pm and we left at 1.30am....the concert hadn't ended yet. Well at least the encore hadn't ended!

Belgium...round 4:Brugge

Belgium's very own Venice....so many canals.Loved this view of the city.
T' Zuid Square....there was this huge monument with statues all around it. They were all extremely odd.
Odd statue....it had something to do with Zeus, I'm not sure what.

St. Salvator's Cathedral from the side.
St. Salvator's Cathedral
A working monastery.
Lover's statue...there are inscriptions on the bottom of the statue of famous couples in history.
Belgium makes beautiful lace products.
Halloween cupcakes!!!
Grote Markt.
Grote markt....it reminds me of a fairy tale. The building in the center that is white is the town hall.
Some government building.

God's house for the poor.

This alley doesn't look that small in the picture, but it surprised me how close the sides were.
Look at all the ducks and swans!!! Now you can see what people mean about Brugge being similar to Venice. Still, I think Venice is much prettier.

Love fall!!!!!
Basilica of the Holy BloodEntrance to a hospital that was built in 1100 and used until the mid 1800's. We didn't enter, but the outside was impressive.
Belfort the bell tower in Grote Markt.

In the square behind the bell tower.Minnewater.
Just beautiful...
Beginning of the park in Brugge...there were ducks, swans and other birds enjoying the water.
Emily and I on the bridge over Minnewater which is a crystalized lake.
